BM850T2 Micro-cassette Transcriber
The Sony BM-850T2 is ideal for anyone who needs to record an interview or phone conversation. The BM-850T2 features a LCD Tape Counter providing a digital readout of used tape length and elapsed time as well as a three function foot control for changing the mode from play, to fast forward, to rewind without having to remove your hands from the keyboard. The BM-850T2 also comes equipped with a chin-band style headset for convenient playback in both ears and is compatible with readily available, standard microcassettes.
- Microcassette System uses easy to obtain, easy to store microcassettes for recording and playback convenience.
- 3-Function Foot Control and Listening Device are supplied and let the transcriptionist hear the tape while changing the mode from Play to Rewind to Fast Forward without removing hands from the keyboard.
- 2-Speed Operation is compatible with Sony two-speed microcassette recorders, for maximum dictating and transcribing versatility.
- LCD Tape Counter provides a highly visible 3-digit indication of tape position for locating specific dictation.
- Fully Adjustable Automatic Secretarial Reverse automatically replays the last part of the dictation whenever the user stops transcribing, to prevent lost dictation, and lets the operator adjust how much to rewind so tape resumes at the most desirable point prior to where it stopped.
- Speed/Tone/Volume Controls are individual slider type, front-panel mounted, to allow easy one-finger adjustment for transcribing convenience.
- End-of-Tape Alarm signals when the tape end is reached.
- Built-In Playback Speaker is useful when one or more persons wishes to listen to the recording without the need to wear earphones.
- Built-In Erase may be activated to automatically erase recordings while rewinding the microcassette
- Auto-Stop Function stops the tape in Fast Forward and Rewind modes when End-of-Document, Electronic Indexes, and other special instruction signals on the tape are reached.
