Advantages of Digitally Recording

Digitally capturing the spoken word improves and streamlines meetings, ensures a higher level of accuracy and improves availability of the information. Digital recordings allow for clear and accurate recall of directives, discussion points, motions and votes. Recording the actual audio of the meeting provides an accurate permanent record.

Improve Efficiency and Accuracy.. The sound quality is dramatically better than tape..ensuring recall of every detail. While recording the audio, the user has the ability to enter time-stamped notes, highlighting sections of the meeting and important discussion points.

Produce Minutes Faster.Producing accurate minutes is much faster when working from a digital recording. Time-stamped notes entered while recording make it easy to locate sections of the meeting for creating summary minutes and verbatim transcription.
No more searching through long cassette tapes to transcribe the meeting.

Audio Management.Recalling sections of a meeting directly, participants can quickly review discussions, hearing firsthand the details that can be lost using only handwritten notes or personal recollection. Research is quick and easy with direct access to information from archives stored on the Local Area Network or on CDROM.

Improved Decision Making.By making important accurate information available in a timely manner, all parties involved in the decision-making process can proceed based on accurate and complete understanding of the issues presented at the meeting.

Enhance Communication.Digital recording helps to improve communication with customers, partners, and employees. Recordings of meetings, sales conferences and other types of meetings can be published on CDROM or put on the Local Area Network for retrieval. In addition, the ability to keep the public accurately informed can lead to improved community relations and more effective public involvement.
